Unapologetic and Glamorous Body Kindness Blog - Miss Monroes Lingerie for Thighs anti chafing lingerie for thighs. Prevent chub rub and thigh rub with lightweight moisture wicking anti chafing shorts by Miss Monroes.

Ladies everywhere... thigh chafing happens!

We all have uniquely shaped bodies. We all sweat.

We all have different natural body temperatures and we all have our unique skin type.

Preventing thigh chafe should be as normal as using a bra for support, wearing active apparel while sweating it out, using deodorant and wearing shoes to protect and support our feet.

Most of us will experience it at some point in our lives...

Thigh chafe, thigh rub or chub rub (as it's often nicknamed), happens to a great number of us.

Unfortunately many women feel too embarrassed to admit they suffer from it.

For too long we have been made to feel that thigh chafing is a fat problem.

And yet even when I was at my slimmest (size 8) my thighs still chafed!

The fact is - Men suffer from chafing (just ask any marathon runner! Women included.)
Men, women, children and babies all can suffer from chafing right?

Why then are women left feeling shameful and embarrassed when it happens to them?

Chafing is a universal discomfort and one of the most common misconceptions is that it is a result of being fat or overweight.  This is simply not true–chafing can happen to anyone, and can occur on any part of your body.

If you have suffered from any type of chafing you will know the potential of it turning from a light irritating rub to a debilitating and painful chafing which can cause scarring.

Did you know women from all over the world, during all seasons, suffer from thigh chafe?
In fact chafing can happen...

  • during as well as post pregnancy
  • while waking along the beach or running a marathon
  • walking back up the beach after a swim
  • on holiday, whether in the tropics or sightseeing a new city
  • during the heat of mid summer
  • whilst out dancing in a club or at a music festival
  • cheerleading, playing netball and beach volleyball
  • working in an office, hair salon, child care centre, hospital (the list is endless)
  • and of course out shopping (even in air conditioning)

When the sun is shining, wearing summery dresses and skirts evoke feelings of being carefree and can elevate our mood.  Don't let chafing interfere with your plans, or compromise what you wear or stop you from enjoying the moment.  There are lots of great products out there that help to prevent chafing.

At Miss Monroeswe believe chafe prevention should be as fashionable as the clothes we love and as sexy as wearing lingerie.

Stop the shame of chafing. Let's empower other women by letting them know it's commonly experienced and there's nothing to feel embarrassed about.
